Partner (Migrant) visa
This visa allows the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen, work, live and study in Australia.
There are two stages of these visas:
Subclass 820 (Temporary/Onshore) or 309 (Temporary/Offshore) and subclass 801/100 (Permanent).

The Permanent Partner Visa (Subclass 801/100) includes all the benefits of Australian permanent residency:
– Opportunity to study in Australia.
– Work and live in Australia indefinitely.
– Sponsor relatives for permanent residence (Depending on their eligibility).
– Enrol in Medicare, Australia’s scheme for health-related care and expenses.
